About the Author

Rongen David Lin, also known as David Lin, is an interdisciplinary practitioner with experience in information technology, financial engineering, risk management, venture capital, and Taiwan–Israel industry and educational cooperation. He has also participated for many years in discussions of biblical economic ethics.

He earned dual degrees in Computer Science and Economics from National Tsing Hua University and an MBA from National Taiwan University. Earlier in his career, he served as a Senior Consultant for IBM Asia Pacific, Chief Solution Architecture Consultant for SAP Greater China, an independent financial engineering consultant to Citibank / Salomon Smith Barney, and an AVP at Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong. He also advised banks in Asia on asset–liability management and risk management.

He founded TXI Center and EON Center. These names are mentioned solely as part of his personal background. Neither organization participated in the preparation, production, publication, or distribution of this white paper. The views expressed are his own and do not represent the positions of either organization.

In this white paper, he brings personal Christian reflection into dialogue with practical experience to propose governance and institutional models for discussion. Professional experience helps frame questions, compare alternatives, and identify risks; it does not replace scriptural argument, theological study, or specialist validation.
